Garden Framework Knitters Museum, Ruddington
Garden Works is a collection of embroideries created by Common Threads participants, in partnership with the Framework Knitters Museum.
We have worked with the Framework Knitters Museum for several years taking inspiration from its collections. This summer we focussed on the beautiful gardens at the museum, inviting participants to create embroideries inspired by a garden or plant special to them.
Recent research has proved that connecting to nature can impact positively on health. Garden Works celebrates the wellbeing and contemplation this connection can evoke.
The exhibition is free to enter, as is the museum’s café, garden, and shop.
